In 2013, USA Football will conduct 10 Regional Development Camps throughout the country.  The Regional Development Camps will include on and off the field curriculum, for up to 200 total athletes, divided by age group 13-14 (U15), 15-16 (U17), 17-18 (U19).  These athletes will be evaluated on their football abilities/ skills and compete to be selected on Team USA and represent their country in International competition.

The Regional Development Camp event is an opportunity to highlight the area’s “top right” players in three separate age groups (U15, U17 and U19).  These athletes are mostly current High School players and will be evaluated through a variety of individual drills, 1 on 1’s and 7 on 7 competitions.  They are being evaluated on their football ability to be selected to play for Team USA National Team the following season or even this summer at one of the National Team Development weeks.  This event provides opportunities for these athletes to be evaluated and taught from a variety of NFL coaches, players, scouts and local High School coaches.  In addition to the evaluations and ability to represent the Unites States in International competition (games), these athletes will have further exposure to colleges and create chances to further their education.
