2024 Registration Opens March 1st

2024 Cary Junior Trojans Competitive &  Sideline Cheerleading
The registration fee can now be made in installments.
Registration will take place in the following order:
Priority registration for returning 2023 Cheerleaders: Feb 23rd-Feb 29th.
New Athletes can register beginning March 1st.
A wait list will be generated if needed

Welcome to CJT Cheer! Our season will run from June 10th through November 17th. CJT Cheerleaders will attend 2-3 practices a week (younger teams less) Competitions begin in September at the earliest and will end with the ICA State Championship in November. All competitions are held within Illinois. In addition, teams will cheer on either a Saturday or Sunday for our football teams held at Cary Jr. High.

★ 3rd-8th grade-$500

★ 3 Local ICA competitions (all spectator admission fees included, parking may be additional) 3rd-8th - 1st and 2nd grade will attend 2 competitions

★ Professional Choreography
★ Year End Banquet Entrance for Cheerleaders
★ Trained coaches through Cheer University
★ Family Performance Night held at the high school
★ Program Insurance
★ Mat cleaning services
★ First Aid Supplies
★ $165 per cheerleader for teams that qualify for the State Championship, (There will be optional fundraising with selling mums to help offset this fee)
★ Complete Uniform (game day tank, competition top, competition skirt- there will be optional fundraising with selling popcorn to help offset this fee)
★ Cheerleading Shoes
★ Practice apparel package- Mandatory
★ Summer Skills Clinic- 3rd-8th grade
★ Optional high school camp
★ Team fund (team building activities,competition gifts)
★ Pink Bow ( only if you lost yours or new to program)
Our season will begin June 10th. K-2nd grade will begin on a different date. More to come. K and 1st grade practice 1 time per week, 2nd-8th will practice twice a week, but 5th-8th will be practicing a third day starting a little later in the season.
April 15th and 16th- Uniform Fittings at Algonquin Township
June 10th: Season will begin. Skill Camp for 3rd-8th Grade
No practice organization wide - August 4th-11th
Sideline Cheer clinic: August TBD
Homecoming Parade
Possible competition weekends: Please keep these open until confirmed in May.
We do 3 competitions and the State Championship
August 25th - First Look at NIU
September 7th and 8th- Cheercago at Hampshire High School
September 21st and 22nd - Cheer Wishes at West Aurora High School
October 5th and 6th - Cheer Pink at Hampshire High School
October 19th and 20th - Final Fling at NIU
November 2nd - Spirit Spooktacular at Huntley High School
Family Performance Night- In October - TBD
State Championship - November 14th-17th at NIU
Our cheer teams will be cheering for the CJT home football games. All home games will be played at the Cary Jr. High School. The football season will begin around the end of August extending through early November. We will share game schedules as soon as
they are available. Cheering at football games is not optional and is a mandatory team commitment. We use this time to support our football teams and strengthen the skills our cheerleaders learn at practice.
**Teams compete at ICA competitions with the goal to earn a bid to the ICA State Championship. Athletes whose teams qualify are expected to participate**
