Competitions

CJT Poms will participate in Pop Warner competitions for 2023. Our 2nd – 8th grade teams will participate in 2 local competitions (Conference & Regionals).  Conference will take place in mid/end of October and Regionals will take place early November.  For most teams, the season will end after Regionals.  

Our 6th – 8th grade teams will be travel which means they will have the opportunity to continue their season into December if they qualify for the Pop Warner Nationals dance competition located in Orlando, FL. Optional fundraising will be available to help with this additional expense.  More details regarding Nationals will be communicated in August.

Competition dates and locations will be communicated by the Pom Directors and Coaches once they are finalized.

Please note that an extra practice will be scheduled the week of our competitions.  This practice is mandatory.

Family Performance Night

In October, all CJT Poms teams will participate in our annual Family Performance Night (FPN). This night gives our Pom and Cheer squads the opportunity to dazzle our Cary Junior Trojan families! Our K/1 teams who do not participate in competitions will have a special recognition at this event as well as our 8th grade athletes.

 The Cary Junior Trojan Poms program is a member of Pop Warner Little Scholars, Inc. (PWLS) which is a non-profit organization. For more information on this organization see their website: https://www.popwarner.com
