The Cary Jr. Trojan Flag Football Program is designed to teach young athletes, ages 5-10, the game of football. They will be taught the skills, fundamentals, and terminology of Cary-Grove football to prepare them for transitioning to our Cary Junior Trojan Tackle Program if and when both the athlete and parents are ready. Players are given the chance to learn various positions on offense and defense as well as learn commonly used football terminology.

Games are played every Saturday from late August to late October. There is the chance of Sunday games later in the season. Practices begin in late July and typically occur at Deer Path Elementary. Home games occur behind Cary Junior High. Participating programs are Prairie Ridge, Algonquin, and Wauconda. Reversible uniforms as well as flags are included with registration.

Mouth guards are required for practices and games. Molded cleats are highly recommended. These are not included in the registration fee.

Our three age divisions are 5/6, 7/8, and 9/10. Age cutoff effective September 1st.
