2023 Speed Camp

For the 5th year in a row, the official Cary Jr. Trojans speed camp will be led by Marcus Thimios, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, owner of MT Performance Training and Speed Coach for the Cary-Grove High School football team.

Assisted by other fitness professionals, current college and high school football players, all CG alum.

$65 to register- Come on out to Lions Park every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30-7:00pm between 6/5-7/12 (No camp 7/3 and 7/5).

CJT SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

The Cary Junior Trojans are proud to announce that we will be offering 3 College Scholarships to CJT Alumni! The Scholarships are available for those athletes who participated in Football, Cheer or Dance at the Cary Junior Trojans level and also at Cary Grove High School. 

 

The following qualifications will apply:

  • Participation in the CJT program for a minimum of 6 years
  • Student/Athlete must have a 3.0 minimum GPA
  • Participation in Football/Cheer/Dance at Cary Grove High School
  • A minimum of 10 hours Involvement with the Cary Junior Trojans program (ex: Ref for Flag games, Volunteer assistance at Jr Trojans Summer Camps, Jr Coaching)
  • Submit a one-page essay and the application

We are proud to offer this scholarship in honor of Lisa Hoeppel, a former CJT Board Member and Coach. This Scholarship was established to honor Lisa’s memory and provide opportunities to a student/cheerleader who shares the passionate, hard-working spirit of Lisa that has impacted so many.

  • Share how Cary Jr Trojans impacted their continued involvement in football/cheer/dance throughout High School

  • Discuss how they envision using what they have learned from football/cheer/dance in college and beyond

  • Finally, how football/cheer/dance has impacted their life
